Chandler Wichman
About
Chandler grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, where he developed a strong connection to the community he now serves. He attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha, earning his undergraduate degree in Political Science, before going on to receive his J.D. from Creighton University School of Law. Before law school, Chandler worked as a sushi chef at one of Omaha’s most well-known restaurants. Chandler joined the firm in December 2024 as a law clerk and has now transitioned into an Associate Attorney role.
At Carlson & Blakeman, Chandler focuses his practice on estate planning, probate, and guardianships, working closely with attorneys Matthew Wurstner and Megan Cavanaugh. He is passionate about helping families and individuals navigate some of life’s most significant and challenging transitions. Chandler works with clients to create clear, effective estate plans tailored to their individual needs, guiding them through the complexities of wealth transfer and long-term planning.
In the area of probate and guardianships, Chandler represents personal representatives, fiduciaries, and families with care and precision, ensuring that matters are resolved efficiently. His goal is to provide practical solutions that bring clarity and peace of mind to clients during difficult and uncertain times.
Outside of his legal work, Chandler enjoys staying active through rock climbing, weightlifting, and rollerblading. He also loves spending time in the kitchen trying new recipes. At the end of the day, Chandler treasures time spent at home with his two dogs and his loving wife, whom he is fortunate enough to come home to each evening.
